Whilst I’ve done very little work on my MA, I have been writing consistently, which is nice. It does mean that I have some catching up to do though, and after a poor mark on my major project treatment I need to go back to the drawing board.

My story at the minute spans years and many locations, which would be fine if it wasn’t a play. But it is. So I’ve taken on some advice and now the whole thing takes place in one room over the course of a day. Sounds great and I am looking forward to getting on with it, but it’s all in Welsh and I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I must have made up that I can speak it all, because everything I write sounds like the ramblings of a drunk toddler.

Suppose I better get my head down. I’ll post some sample text as soon as I’ve made some headway.

  1. The changes to your script, while frustrating (I’ve been there), sound positive. I’m kind of raging it’s in Welsh as I like the sound of it and I’d love to read it! The only Welsh I know is mynd i lawr, which I like to pretend is a drag queen who’s famous for “going down”, called Mindy Lawr.
